1.1 Our DARKNESS Our LIGHT
The moonlight illuminated the castle, casting a silvery glow over the imposing structure. The fortress stood tall and dark against the starry sky, with its gothic towers reaching into the heavens, as if clawing for escape from the weight of its own history. Whispers of laughter intertwined with cries of despair floating through the halls, layering the air with an unsettling mixture of emotions — both cherished memories and curses of the past. The ivy that climbed the fortress walls was overgrown, choking the very structure it adorned as if trying to bury the past. The estate lay shrouded in an eerie silence, broken only by the haunting hoots of owls echoing through the motionless night and the faint howls of wolves in the distance. The wind that whispered through the ancient trees carried with it the echoes of something long forgotten and as the dawn broke an ethereal mist curled around the weathered stones of Moreau Castle.
But as the morning sun slowly rose, the darkness retreated. The eerie stillness of the night transformed into something almost picturesque, though the chill in the air still lingered. The sun pierced through the fog, illuminating the sprawling estate. The castle, though grand, looked lonely amid the freshly budding trees and flowering vines that tried to reclaim the space.
